//Hello, and welcome to the new and slightly revamped.. no, scratch that.. completely overhauled Youth Website. We are sorry for the lack of update on the old site, but hopefully, this will be a good temporary solution to our technical woes. Anywho, you'll find plenty of updaty-ness here on this site, so check back often for more info on upcoming events.
//To find a certain event, just look to your right. Any officially-scheduled event will be labeled as [event name here] - DATE.
//BJ's in the hospital! Oh noes! Everyone pray for him! Just an allergic reaction to a med. He'll be fine in a few days.
Peace
Eric
We've made a big deal about it. We've worked it up. We've gotten all of you PUMPED. We cut our hands and feet on those ridiculously annoying aluminum cans! HOO-RAH!It's the ELCA National Youth Gathering, and it's happening in... TWO MONTHS! Oh my! For those of us going, it'll be a blast. The rest of you will sit home and cry because you miss us. The trip to Texas will be taking place on July 3rd. But don't fret. We'll be back on the 10th, after having insane amounts of fun. Without you.
Eric
P.S. More information = Available in the Narthex.
As many of you 'Youth Group Veterans' are aware of, the Annual Shore Trip is just around the corner. We will leave for New Jersey on the 26th of June, and return on the 30th. There is more information readily available in the Narthex, along with the signup sheet for those of you who wanna go.
It'll be fun-on-a-stick. Get your swimsuit-clad butts to the signup sheet and be there. Or not...
Eric
For those of you not present at the last youth group meeting, there will be no youth group on May 28th, due to Memorial Weekend. However, youth group will resume the following Sunday, June 4th.
Hope to see you there!

//Woohoo! Guess who's at a college right now, here, posting this? Me! Ha! That's right! I was entered into a programming competition by my C++ teacher, and we just finished! Central York placed 1st out of five! I'll post some pictures if I can later.

//Hello everyone. I was browsing Google Video, and came across something that, in my opinion, was created by the god of free time. Ironically, he's a Japanese Canadian. As you watch the video, think about how much one person would have to know about physics and gravitational laws to actually pull something like this off. The video itself is about 15 minutes, so, enjoy!

//This is our last youth event before summer break. We will be going to Six Flags in Maryland for a day of fun-ness. The cost is $10 for members of Zion, and $22.15 for non-members (trust me, you don't wanna become a member to save $12). More details are to follow in a later post.
//In other news, I think I kindof like this site, so scratch the 'temporary solution' thing. We'll probably transfer it to the Zion server soon, but this is cool for now.
//On a completely random note, I feel like posting the movie I made for 10th grade English. It's probably the very best movie you could watch to learn about verbs. It was painful, and my friends and I put our own sweat and blood into it.. literally. Here ya go:
Guess who's making a sequel? Heck yeah!
Peace

//As many of you may or may not already know, in just a few weeks (May 21st) the youth group will be attending a paintball session at Revolution Paintball at Ski Roundtop. Times are unavailable at the moment, however, but we do have some other information.
//The leaders that will be supervising and coordinating the event so far are: Eric Cable and Todd Stites. The admission fee is $20, which will pay for: 1 Paintball Marker, Protective face mask, Guppy pack (the thing that holds the canisters full of paintballs), unlimited air refills, and, of course, a safety presentation given by one of the many knowledgeable referees available. Lunch will be provided by the church at the field.
//Hope to see you there! Bring your friends!
Peace
Eric
